Who am I?

A confused young man

A brilliant young man

A talented young man

A loving young man

A lonely young man

A young man

Raised by life’s experiences and influential’s

I was born with no father

I am a bastard

But this bastard defied the odds

Conquered the stereotypes

Don’t tell me what you think I am

Cause I already know me

My struggle

My swagger

My intelligence

I am me

The infinite one

Telling the establishment that I can’t be touched

Like a Teflon Don running the streets of his realm

I define greatness by striving for goals once thought unachievable

I lie not where sleeping dogs lie

But in a royal cornucopia of diversity

I am unique

I am diverse

I am the younger brotha

Touching your hearts through the words I spit from my soul

I am blessed beyond measure

Yet cursed to define the answer

Who am I?

I am me

perfectmatch

By: Tony L. Jefferson, Jr.

It’s always said that that special woman there

Waiting for you to take her hand

Intelligence abounds within her

A caring and nurturing soul

Independence and common sense sets her apart from the others

Her style is original, unique and suave

Just to hear her voice, makes your day soar

The longest mile she’ll travel for you

The first and last of your wonderful day

Her smile brightens the night sky and calms the day

Your perfect match

One God created for you

The simple things are all she enjoys

Her happiness is your reward

The pleasure is deep and fulfilling

I use to sit and wonder why women were just so wrong

Then in she came to change my thoughts

And offered me something more

I use to say those guys are lucky, until I discovered her

The perfect match was there all along

Helping you through the times

The perfect example of a woman’s work

Is what has be bestowed upon me

LoveHate

By: Tony L. Jefferson, Jr.

Hate is powerful, just like Love

People say you shouldn’t hate, well should you love

Love Hate

Such a thin line

But one without the other

Well that just can’t be

I love you company, on those lonely nights in spring

How you lie next to me and whisper sweet nothings in my ear

How your kiss feels on those passionate nights

How you stare into my eyes to catch a glimpse of my soul

How that one night our hearts beat as one

How you listened when no one would lend me an ear

How you stood by my side, when the world turned its back

How when you cry, a piece of me dies inside

But when there is joy in your smile my heart shines, boo

Our sweet little names that we call each other

I love you, yes indeed I do

I hate our spurts of random anger

The meaningless arguments that really solve nothing

Your judgmental friends, who are miserable and all alone

Your father’s evil eye, when I’m not in town

Your mother’s snide remarks, when I’m not around

Your time of the month, cause your hate flows freely

When you say “we need to talk”, my heart skips a few beats

See to truly love or hate requires commitment

A commitment to that person for a lifetime

Too much love without hate is delusional

Too much hate without love is detrimental

Balance between to two means together forever in most cases

Love is where I want to be

But hate is all I tend to see

my mistakes

By: Tony L. Jefferson, Jr.

I say I’m sorry, but is it enough

I apologize, but is it sincere

Friendships redeemed through difficult times

But do I deserve such forgiveness

I hurt you

I hurt everyone

My intent was not as he seemed to be portrayed

Maybe I tried too hard to fit

This puzzle piece is so hard to place

Maybe I pushed too hard for companionship

So the lonely days could just fade away

Maybe I’m too nice, too humble, and too genuine

The man that I am is so ashamed

My mother would be disgraced to find

Such atrocities committed by a man she fashioned to be better than the rest

My sincere apologies for my fatal flaw

That broke the bonds of trust and friendship

Please believe me when I say

That these words written are meant to be uttered

To a willing ear, an open mind and a forgiving heart

Yes, I did the dirty deeds

Not physically but mentally, but it’s just as bad

Please forgive me for my sinning heart

And give me a chance to prove my worth

A chance to prove that I am that man I was meant to be

My mistake

A lonely heart

deep pleasure

By: Tony L. Jefferson, Jr.

When my lips first parted your thighs

A feeling of desire beging to rise

As my tongue carressed you sweet, juicy folds

And the tension was released from that beautiful hole

I knew that this night was meant for our bodies to commence

Cause beyound that you are beautiful

But that magic you’ve created

When your hips beging gyrating

Has this young man sprung

If only for that night of our passionate dance

When we dance and sing in our love making trance

I plundge deep inside to see where your secret lies

See this pleasure I’m feeling

Ooooooooooo

Has got to be worth a million

It’s got me in tears

Or is the sweat from the stroke

That’s pounding your back

Making you scream a song that you’ve never sung

Cause when I go deep others can’t compete

Because their swagga is only skin deep

Mine lives in the bones

So deep

So deep

Oooooooooooo

Can you feel that?

That’s a pleasure that you’ll never feel again

Cause in the morning I’ll be gone like the wind

dreams from forever

By: Tony L. Jefferson, Jr.

Distant thoughts from distant lands

Plague my mind and invade my soul

I am awake, but it seems as if I am dreaming

Conscious thoughts constantly roam through miraculous times

Epics and novels are acted out as real life in my mind

All that I wish is that I had more time

To dream think more adventurous things

Forever

That seems to be so long

But this forever that I dream is beautiful and wondrous

Filled with lovelies and excitement

Life it seems to contrast so beautifully

Negative vs. positive

Dark vs. light

Evil vs. good

One can’t survive without the other

Life’s not balanced without the duality of the two

Dreams from forever not clearly defined

Because I live life free

Free and divine

love songs

By: Tony L. Jefferson, Jr.

What’s happened to the world of today?

I guess everyone’s too busy trying to get paid

Love has died a horrible death

These hearts have been robbed, so terrible a theft

For years our ears have always turned to music

When tenors sing that high, enthusiastic acoustic

Sweet soul music is what it was called

Now this bump and grind, I am so appalled

The sweetest release from a singer’s voice

Released into your heart, stand up and rejoice

The rhythmic sounds love lost and found

Floating down the riverside, seems like they’ve all but drowned

Bring back the sounds of the funky Motown

Or when Rose Royce sang “I’m going down”

Back when Marvin Gaye use to sing to us

Or when Al Green serenaded us at the back of the bus

When Etta James and Anita Baker sung of the pains of love

And Luther sang of the power of love

Oooohhhh

Love restores

Love renews

Love is rebirth of passion and pleasure

But no one sings love songs anymore

Now the world is crazy forevermore

spring

By: Tony L. Jefferson, Jr.

As heavens bright beacon gleams across the bright, blue sky

Winds of time sweep across the rich smelling earth

Sweet smelling essences of blooming lives erupt throughout

Joyful noises fade into the wonderful chorus of the day

Bright colors blend in so nicely, making a splendid canvas of art

Beating wings followed by the sweet songs of morning greet us

Suddenly a nice, cool mist falls nourishing the season

The gently buzz of a bumblebee calms the waiting flower

Like the honey it produces

From the pollen it consumes

From the flower that yields

These pleasantries of spring I witness day and night

What joy and rebirth this season brings

shark and lark

By: Tony L. Jefferson, Jr.

As I wander through the dark

The reality I realized was very stark

Because at that moment I saw a shark

Alone in the ocean

He came to the surface to chase a lark

What a commotion

Happy_Mothers_Day

By: Tony L. Jefferson, Jr.

Love that transcends the fabric of time

Wishing for more days to celebrate

I spit this passionate rhyme in hopes to brighten your special day

Mother

Mother dear

Can you hear me say I love you from afar?

Oh how I wish I was near

Our circumstances prevent our closeness

But mother dear our loves fills the gap

Fills the void of space

More than a day to cherish your faithful heart

A day can’t make up for 18 years

More like 23 going on 24 years

You’ve been there

Facing unbearable struggles to uplift me to my highest potential

I love you

Love not used lightly

Love encompasses total care

Total surrender

Total affection

The number one lady in my life

More than a day to cherish your faithful heart

Forever my love endures

I love you mother dear
