midnight lover

By: Tony L. Jefferson, Jr.

Midnight lover knows she feels so good

Treat you right like I know I should

Midnight lover won’t you stay with me

Through these lonely nights

Steamy thoughts envelope my mind

Every time you cross my thoughts

Thoughts of what we have

Thoughts

Clear and concise

Midnight lover, damn I’m a lucky man

To have happened across your fine ass

The way you danced that sensual dance

The way your hips sway with that sassy walk

The way your lips feel against mine

The way please this rising passion

Midnight lover I know your time is short

But please stay till the sun greets the sky

Cause your body feels like heaven on earth

Your words play music in my mind

Soulful and invigorating chords of melodies flow from your mouth

Through those lushes lips pass wisdom that soothes and comforts

Your body is the epitome of God’s creation

Crafted by perfect hands and a perfect mind

Midnight lover, this night can’t be true

I hope this fantasy can merge with reality

I hope you stay just for a little while

Or marry me and stay forever

sexy

By: Tony L. Jefferson, Jr.

It seems like you’re ready

To feel intense pleasure

So let me come through and satisfy you

Let me caress that body

Got you feeling naughty

When I lay down that body

Now you’re off in my ride

Cruising with a smile so bright

The sunshine grows jealous of that good feeling

That feeling I gave as a gift of my love

My love for passion

My love for excitement

My love for you

So undress baby

Slow and sensual

Touch your toes when you bend over

So I can see the love between those thighs

Girl you got me rising high with a simple touch

Soft and tender slow and gentle

Let me work between those thighs or maybe from behind

Naw I’ll let you ride then reverse the motion

Up against the wall or in the kitchen next to food

Feed my hunger

Feed my passion

Feed me your sweet essence

So let me come through to satisfy you

And I promise I’ll feed you too

unheard prayer

By: Tony L. Jefferson, Jr.

Heavenly Father

Guide us in our way and thinking

Show the young a better way to live

Help the old accept change with open arms

I pray for peace and prosperity

For a world where hate is as rare as peace is today

I pray and I pray but does it get heard Lord

I see the suffering in the eyes of my people

They live in miserable times and terrible places

Boredom threatens to strangle the last bit of excitement in their lives

They pray for hope

Hope that the next day is better or maybe even the next year

Circumstances delay the plight of their success

Dreams deferred just to see their offspring achieve theirs

But shouldn’t they be allowed the same convenience?

Our communities are degraded by negativity

Our children lost the moral discipline needed to respect their elders or even each other

Our elders lost the patience they once had and fail to accept change in the younger

They lost that hope they had for our generation

Lost the dream of the King

In this historic day and age where someone who looks likes me is the president

He’s challenged by the status quo

Not because his policies are bad

But because another skin color didn’t think of it

Lord be with him as he tries to change the world for the better

Be with our children as they set a future path for success

Comfort our elders and let them know that we the younger generation have the responsibility and discipline to take the reins from them

Bless the troubled areas of the world stop them for killing out of spite

Stop the violence against ourselves

We are all one people trying to make a better world for ourselves and future generations

Moral discipline is needed to bring back the sense of community that we crave

Social justice must happen to bring order back to the masses

With your guiding grace and all powerful knowledge Lord

We can make a way out of no way

Don’t let go and let God

Be there to receive the blessing

forsaken city

By: Tony L. Jefferson, Jr.

The culture of deceit rises high

High enough to touch the grimy sky

Filled with the cries of the forsaken, the forgotten, the cursed

Misery coats the city streets with greed and depression

The people no longer care, for they are numb to any positive light that might shine upon them

Beautiful people, masked by the ugliness of the environment that preys upon their sanity

Forsaken, defeated, trampled by the rising cost of living

The lights struggle to stay lit; the water comes out in chunks

The leaders of the city are but figure heads with a status

They don’t know the struggle of the people

Or they do but do they really care

As long as they can sit fat at the table of success

No one else in the city matters a bit

So the crime rises and takes hold

The drugs become bold and strangles the life out of the youth

Good friends turn to enemies

And the people forget their own kind

They are just existing, not truly living

Working but not succeeding

Liking but not loving

worthless killing in pine bluff, ar

By: Tony L. Jefferson, Jr.

What do you get from killing out of spite?

Do you sleep well in the still of the night?

I can’t understand the stupidity of you

Or why yall do the things you do

All I know is it has to stop

The old are gone, Dead and Gone

You new cats think you know

But you don’t know shit

You just playing a role in a fantasy land

You ain’t getting paid

You ain’t the leader of shit

Nothing but a fad, a phony, an empty soul in worthless skin

You think you tough got fight a war

You think you strong go raise a child

Your think you’re a leader go run for mayor

Mayors, council members, and other officials

Yall fucking suck

This worthless killing has been going on for years and years

While you sit back, get fat and get rich and wealthy

You have nothing to celebrate

Nothing to be joyous about

My young black brothers getting killed in the streets

My young sisters getting pregnant at 13

Don’t tell me about progress

Don’t tell me about history

Cause I ain’t seeing shit but a different season

bad luck vibes

By: Tony L. Jefferson, Jr.

My good fortune comes to a screeching halt

But is this bad luck my entire fault?

Or because I stood at the crossroads and fought

With the devil or was it God?

Boy what a mighty force

That knocked me off my feet

Call me crazy but for a minute I heard sheet

Music

Life goes on but at a slow and broken pace

I’ve been marked by the evil that seeps from the pores of the most hated

Marked like a slave, marked like the damned in the end

A black cloud follows me till eternity

It digs my grave for me to rot in

Rotten stench of bad vibes

Bad vibes that torture my soul

Killing what good is left and replacing it with luck of the forsaken

God grant me a reprieve

Put me back in your good graces

Before the evil sucks me into a never-ending hell

masked feelings

By: Tony L. Jefferson, Jr.

What is this I feel?

A feelings that has me soaring high like an eagle’s flight

So high off this love thing I fiend for it daily

Love’s got my mind boggled

Confused and strangled by this temptation

This picture of you stays etched in my mind

Etched deep like the love I have for you in my heart

My mind comprehends nothing

Logic destroys the feelings I feel

Make me not seem so crazy to the outside world

Masked feelings disguised as love

Love is deceitful leaving me hanging when I really needed it

High off this feeling, whatever it may be

Delirious and drunk off the lingering mind state I feel

Conflicting between mind and heart

The smarter choice or the lover’s choice

My heart aches to find the answers hidden in my mind

Hidden away so good, one must seek God to find my secrets

Upon your success you’ll find my love is true

My love is honest

My love is kind

No longer masked

Reveled to you
