I woke this morning with no particular thought
Hailed a cab, that drove to a train, that led to a plane
The clerk asked my destination
I replied anywhere but here
Maybe I’ll go to a tropical island
Or brave the cold of the North Pole
Maybe play in the jungles of Africa
Or sip tea in the land of Japan
My destination is nowhere
I’d like to start anew
This current life I’m living
Has reached its traumatic end
I’d like to have a different name
Make friends from different lands
Travel the world nonstop
Till I’ve truly lived this life
But I don’t want anywhere in particular
I’d rather be a nomad
My destination is nowhere
And that’s the life I live
